Lord Chamberlain overlooks the Housatonic River on lovely landscaped grounds where we preserve the finer qualities of life. We provide health care services in a pleasant environment that promotes independence, security and human dignity. We are a family owned and operated nursing facility with 250 beds. We offer subacute, long and short term rehabilitation stays, hospice and respite care to individuals with varying needs, backgrounds and interests. Twenty-four hour skilled nursing care, inclusive of IV therapy, is provided by a dedicated staff of over three hundred. Dental care, podiatry, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy and optometry services are available on the premises. Our registered dietitian plans menus assuring prescribed individual dietary needs. Residents enjoy gathering in the warm and inviting dining rooms where all three daily meals are served family style. We provide residents with a choice of attractively decorated private and semi-private rooms, which can be furnished with personal belongings and furniture. Personal care amenities are available inclusive of tonsorial services. A large recreation department provides activities seven (7) days per week. |
