State Farm covers new needs
Over the years people's insurance needs change.
Today a big demand is in long-term care, assisted care, home care and Medicare supplements, all part of an aging population, and State Farm Insurance is ready to meet those needs.
"'Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there' is not just a slogan. It is the philosophical foundation upon which this agency is built," said Fort Morgan State Farm agent Charlene Holzworth.
State Farm now has a whole spectrum of health insurance that was not available before, she added.
Which does not mean other policies are less important. "Whatever the event -- college education, a birth, retirement, a hailstorm, or fire, an accident, illness or long-term care -- we provide products and services that ease financial burdens and provide peace of mind," Holzworth said.
Brush State Farm agent Gregg Mullen pointed out that something else that has not changed is personal service. "Our customers don't have to rely on an 800 number to get things done. A familiar voice in their agent's office will be ready to take care of their needs," he said.
However, State Farm has not been left behind. It can be contacted on the World Wide Web at www.statefarm.com. "We are a high-tech as well as high-touch agency," Holzworth said.
"What's good for the client is State Farm's goal," said 21-year veteran agent Rich Madsen of Fort Morgan.
In addition, State Farm agents' offices are nationwide and throughout Canada, so no matter where a client travels, an agent is close by to assist someone in need. "We also have after hours customer response centers with well-trained employees ready to help customers 365 days a year," Mullen said.
State Farm is now in banking as well with certificates of deposit, mutual funds, checking accounts, home mortgages and lines of credit, Madsen said.
"At State Farm, we are constantly looking for ways to improve our products and the service we provide. Customers today expect and deserve consistent quality service. You can find that service daily at your local State Farm office," Mullen said.
Part of that is with staff members like office manager Pat Helstrom, who has been with Madsen for 17 years, or his new staff member, Meriah-Lee Rich.
They make a personal goal of being there. "Marilyn Dick, Carrie Brening and I are committed to providing personal, good neighbor service to all our clients," Holzworth said.
